Saturday 7 September the penultimate flight of this season from Marche over a distance of 261 km. All young pigeons and old hens were basketed again, in total 67 pigeons.
Unfortunately for the umpteenth time this year the wind came from the SE again. Then you know in advance that there will be no early pigeons on the East side of the department. The release was over 10.00 hour. We had calculated that we were around 13.15 had to sit for an hour for an early pigeon. That was not feasible due to the wind, but if there was a reason 13.18 hour when two pigeons arrive, they are still right on time. The young pigeon 24-8148836 was the first to cross the antenna, followed by a year-old hen 23-9037091. The pigeons came back great again afterwards. Within 12 minutes he was al 21 passed over the antenna.
Things didn't go so well for most other fanciers and they had to wait a long time before they got their pigeons back.
We were there within half an hour 43 I went over the antenna and they are all included in the price. This time too, the young and old pigeons returned home nicely mixed up.
We had the association result 15 pigeons in the first 17 stand. Our pigeons were in place this time 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 in 6. A beautiful result on the 4e Flight into nature (See results).
If we look at the rankings, we see that at the Natoer 15 pigeons that are all ours. Almost all old hens, but the young pigeons are also doing well and are doing well every week.
Next weekend the last Natoer flight from Dizy le Gros. Hopefully the wind will blow from the West one day.
Good luck everyone and see you next week.
