It was to 10.00 uur al gelost.
Sometimes you wonder if the release committee doesn't have radar images on which they can see how the weather is on the way. All other departments in the north of the country released hours later than our department and the progress there was good everywhere.
Next Saturday is the last Natoer flight but we have decided not to participate in that anymore. Feel good for this year. We give the pigeons rest so they can get through the moult well.
For those who still participate, good luck and see you later.
Saturday 28 August 3e Natoer flight from Burdinne over a distance of 236 km.
Last week all pigeons came back from the flight, that's why we're here again 76 could basketing. (26 doffers, 26 hens and 24 youngsters)
The weather forecast was not great. Lots of clouds and numerous showers on the east side of the Netherlands and Belgium.
All in all, conditions for a spicy vluchtje.
About 11.53,20 we have 1e pigeon clocked.
We had this time 1e duif in de Vereniging met verder 7 pigeons in the first 10. Een super resultaat. Next we had 52 of the 76 pigeons in the price.
The predictions were SE wind and then it remains dangerous for inexperienced youngsters. Fortunately, our youngsters are now experienced enough to come home with a SE wind.
It was still thick fog on Saturday morning, views were even less than in the morning 100 meter. Fortunately, the release committee was patient and waited for the fog to be cleared. Release was finally over 10.45 hour. This one 2e After flight it was a release of the entire North of the department, hence 15.783 pigeons that participated in the competition. A nice number for a Natoer flight.
Unfortunately there was a bit of wind from the SE so that there could be no question of early pigeons in the North department on the east side. With a SE wind the pigeons fly too much to the West. The speed of the first pigeons went towards the 85 km per hour. About 12.36 hour we saw the first 2 pigeons come flying. A few seconds later they were already flying 8 above the loft. They went down pretty smoothly this time. Hence also in the first 3 seconds already 5 pigeons clocked.
It went really fast this time, inside 10 minutes he had Reeds 50 clocked. The first early pigeons were all old pigeons but the young pigeons are now also getting better. We were there 76 done and 72 were there very quickly, the other 4 were there later in the afternoon all 4. So everything back home.
In the association there were 283 pigeons, of total 9 lovers. Our pigeons made a great result this time. We had the 1e, 2e, 3e, 4e, 5e, 6e, 7e in 8e place in society (See results). Further 23 pigeons in the first 33, all beautiful early pigeons. The price percentage was again very high and well 80%. (61/76) So all in all a good flight with many early pigeons and everything back home.
This weekend the 3e Nature flees from Burdinne 236 km. Probably with an N-wind and then the pigeons will be there at least 3 hours to reach home base.
Good luck all with the preparations and see you next week.
Saturday 14 August finally the 1e Natoervlucht this season. Looking forward to a few weeks. Because we haven't played the youngsters for a few weeks now, you're longing for a Saturday with a nice flight again.
Beek en Donk was on the program, this over a distance of 127 km. On Kalkar, the last training flight we had basketed all pigeons that could participate in the flight. These were there 76 namely 26 doffers, 26 hens and 24 youngsters. This training went perfectly, all pigeons were back soon. Because a young pigeon came back last weekend, we could go to Beek en Donk 77 basketing pigeons. That's a lot to basket but when they come back it goes very quickly.
The solution was 08.00 hour. Right on time and the weather looked good. The wind came from the SW and then the speed quickly goes to the 100 km per hour.
From 1e pigeon came flying over 09.15 hour. She flew a few more laps and soon more came 3 Bee. This one 4 Then flew several more laps before coming down. Too bad because they were all 4 very early pigeons. Ultimately, the 1e pigeon clocked at 09.16,27 hour. It was the 3 year old cock 18-1552136. As 2e pigeon it was also a 3 year old cock, from 18-1552143. Then came the 3e in 4e dove quickly after it. It was typical this time that the first 5 pigeons were all cocks, this while the hens had also trained well. Of course it's nice that now the cocks were first. With such a short flight you know that if the 1e pigeon there is the rest will follow soon. Within 6 minutes after the 1e pigeon went over the antenna, there were already 34 which were also already clocked. Many old pigeons but also the young pigeons came off well. About a quarter of an hour after the 1e pigeon there was were there already 61 pigeons home, this one 61 were all included in the price. So a very nice price percentage of 79% (61 / 77)
In the association with 337 pigeons we had the 4e, 5e, 6e, in 7e. Further 14 pigeons in the first 22. That's pretty good too. (See results)
Of the 77 pigeons are there 76 come back. One has not been able to find the loft. This one 76 will probably all go back to Weert next weekend over a distance of 151 km. With the predicted NE wind they will now be there about 2 hours to fly.
We'll see what the weekend brings.
Good luck all and until next week.
Saturday 17 July the next young pigeons flight. The unloading place this time was Weert over a distance of 151 km. We had hoped that there would be an unloading place that was a lot shorter but unfortunately that was not the case.
We had the last flight there 28 got it back and we all basketed these again. This time the wind came from the North so the speed of the pigeons would not be high. From 1e pigeon reached a speed of 65 km per hour. If they come very slowly then you already know it's going to be another difficult Saturday.
In the evening when the clocks chimed we had 7 of the 28 basketed pigeons back. At that moment we decided not to basket for the next few weeks.
We first have to ensure that the youngsters get into the rhythm more and can find the home base better.
On the Natoer we will resume the program and basket again.
Saturday 10 July already the last middle distance race of this season from Chalons en Champagne over a distance of 419 km.
We had again 30 pigeons basketed, namely 5 doffers in 25 hens. This time the weather was good immediately and it was possible to unload on time. The release was already over 07.15 hour. According to the department the pigeons had a super departure.
For early bird we had around 12.15 we had calculated sitting for hours. And yes, if 12.15,26 do we have our 1e dove, from 1e drawn cock 19-1338264 clocked. This one 19-1338264 has meanwhile 10 have flown top prizes and is one of the first clocked pigeons almost every week. Now that the positions have been made of the pigeon champion, this one is 264 on the 1e can be found with the old ace pigeons in the entire Rayon. A very good performance.
We also have several pigeons that are in good shape in the different parts in the final positions. There are several yearlings, from 20-1176070 in 20-1176071 (full sisters) who are in good shape either on the Vitesse or on the Middle Distance. Also the 20-1176083 in the 20-1176084 did a great job. It's great that many yearlings are in good shape at the various stands.
We had this time 2e, 3e, 5e, 9e in 10e of the association, and further 15 pigeons in the first 26 (See results). Also a nice price percentage of 57% (17/30)
In the coming weeks we will focus on the young pigeons flights. So far not really successful, but hopefully it will get even better. (didn't have youngsters on the race last Saturday)
Until next week.
Saturday 3 juli de 1e young bird race of the season.
We had in April 65 boy to fly with. We started training in June and we could now do it in July 48 basketing at Boxmeer.
The pigeons were released at 09.30 hour, at that time still quite bad views in the east of the country. From Limburg to Groningen it was not good in the air. The SE wind never predicts anything good either. Always lose a lot with such a wind.
From 1e pigeon was clocked at us 11,06,48. If the weather is good they should be back within an hour. Unfortunately that was not the truth. In the evening at the clock ticking we only had 16. The next day a few more came and in the end we had 25 back. So half, what a drama, and this is just the beginning of the flights.
A result has been made but this flight does not count for the championships. we did have 6 at the first 10 in the association but that is of no use to you (See results)
Next week another young pigeons flight and the last middle distance flight. We'll see what that shows.
Chalons en Champagne
Saturday 26 juni the 5e middle distance flight from Nanteuil over a distance of 463 km. The weather forecast for the weekend was not great.
Thursday evening after basketing there was already a message from the department that might already be released on Friday. The various committees agreed that the weekend was going to be bad. And indeed Friday at 10.00 was unloaded, but not in Nanteuil but the trucks had gone to Chalons en Champagne. According to the experts, there was the greatest chance for a nice flight.
We had again 30 pigeons basketed, 4 doffers in 26 hens. This time the wind came from the SW and that is why the first pigeons would fly around the 100 km per hour to fly.
With us the 1e pigeon clocked at 14.17,41, this time the 3 old hen 1552174, at the beginning of the sprint she also flew several top prizes. As 2e came the 00-1176073 swoops. This hen has already flown the necessary top prizes. The number of pigeons in the association on this middle distance flight has now shrunk to only 93, daddy that only 24 prizes to be shared. We had this time 2e, 5e, 6e in 7e of the association (See results). Vincent Bonnes again had the 1e in the Association. Vincent congratulations.
The other pigeons came off reasonably well but the real spirit is a little less this week. The number of pigeons that flew prize this time 12, what a percentage of 40% content.
There will be no vitesse next weekend- of midfondvlucht, the pigeons then get a week of rest. Next week the last middle distance flight of this year. Time flies.
The youngsters will also start next weekend. Hopefully the weather will be good Saturday so that most youngsters can find their home base again.
Good luck all.
Saturday 19 June already the 4e middle distance race this season. Peronne was on the flight program as unloading place, this was soon changed to Morlincourt and eventually it became Dizy le Gross.
We had this time 30 pigeons basketed, 5 doffers in 25 hens. The weather forecast was good for Saturday, if it's Saturday and the sky looks good then expectations are high. Because the pigeons were basketed on Friday evening, they were not early at the release site. The pigeons must at least 2 hours to recover from the journey and therefore had to wait with unloading until 08.30 hour. The release went very well. This time the wind was blowing from the SW. , the speed of the first pigeons should therefore be around 100 lying miles per hour. And that was the case.
From 1e pigeon in De Lutte by John Bekkedam and Martin Blockhuis was passed on via the app on 12.12,23. We almost had to 6 minutes before the 1e pigeon flew in with us. That is for a Middle Distance flight from 368 km way too long. This time it was the 3-year-old hen 18-1552129 which was the first on the antenna. As 2e pigeon went over the antenna this time the birthday hen 00-1176071, this one is already 4 once been to the middle distance early, that is why she is highly ranked in the various positions. After the first 2 pigeons we had to wait a long time again, namely 4 minutes. Then they dripped in but it didn't go very smoothly.
This time the 1e So go to Mr Bekkedam and Blockhuis, John and Martin proficient. Our pigeons were on the 2e, 5e in 7e place. Next we had 19 of the 30 pigeons in the price, Once again from an acute percentage of 63% (See results)
It was a pity this time that the designated pigeons were not early in the results. It's difficult to mention the designated pigeons every week. Undesignated, we did take the points. We are still in good shape in the various positions.
Next week the next middle distance flight and again from Nanteuil.
Good luck everyone with the preparations and see you next week.
Saturday 13 juni the 3e Middle distance race of the year over a distance of 419 km vanuit Chalons en Champagne.
We had this time 30 pigeons basketed, namely 3 doffers in 27 hens. Most cocks left at home once so that they are at home when the hen comes home. For the umpteenth time this year the weather on Saturday was not too good and this flight was also postponed to Sunday. On Sunday the weather was immediately good and we could change immediately 07.00 to be unloaded.
The first pigeons would reach a speed of about with the NW wind 75 km per hour. About 12.30,37 was therefore our 1e pigeon clocked. Again our 1e drawn cock, from 19-1338264. This 2-year-old cock already has 7 top prizes and is in most pigeon championships at the top. Na 3 mintue came the 2e in 3e pigeon also flew in together and these went up over the antenna at exactly the same time 12.33,51. These were 2 hens, our 3e in 4e drawn. The points for both the designated and undesignated championship were already in. The other pigeons also came back well after that. Almost every minute or one, so that inside 19 minutes after the first one was there half was already home.
We had this time 1e, 3e, in 4e of the association, in the Rayon against 1.408 pigeons we had the 1e, 13e in 14e with further 18 of the 30 pigeons in the price, a very attractive rate 60% (See results)
Another beautiful flight with good weather. Fortunately, there was no discharge on Saturday. There was a thick cloud band over Belgium on Saturday just like the week. Then you better wait a day and hope they do well on Sunday.
This weekend the 4e Middle distance flight from Morlincourt over 420 km. Again a best distance for a middle distance flight. (rather all Nanteuil of 463 km and Chalons of 419 km)
The weather forecast is for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday quite hot. Hopefully it won't be too bad on Saturday so it won't be a very tough flight. We'll see what the.
Good luck everyone and see you next week.
